Data collected
We collect the following data as part of the service:
- Account data: name, email address, profile picture (via Google OAuth or manual input).
- Site content: text, images and information you add to your Seen page.
- Usage data: anonymized visit statistics via Vercel Analytics (no tracking cookies, no personally identifiable data).
Purpose of processing
Your data is used to:
- Create and manage your user account.
- Generate and host your personal website.
- Send transactional emails (sign-in links).
- Improve the service through anonymized statistics.
Legal basis
The processing of your data is based on the performance of the contract (service delivery) and your consent at the time of registration.
Cookies
Seen only uses cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the service (authentication via Supabase). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.
Hosting and subprocessors
- Vercel (site hosting and analytics): United States.
- Supabase (database and authentication): United States.
- Cloudflare (image storage): United States.
- Resend (transactional emails): United States.
- Stripe (payments): United States.
These providers are GDPR-compliant or covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Data retention
Your data is kept as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be erased within 30 days.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Access: obtain a copy of your personal data.
- Rectification: correct inaccurate data.
- Erasure: request deletion of your data.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured format.
- Objection: object to certain processing.
